This year’s call for films was our largest ever, with film entries from the U.S., United Kingdom, Africa and Jamaica. GIBFF 2016 Official Selection - CopySo many entries, and so little time to program them all. We’re excited to announce returning entries from Arnaud Bettan (Nola Circus; Winner 2015 Best Comedy Feature), Chaz Bottoms (A Walk to School, Winner 2015 Best Animation), and Anthony Hobbs (One Nation, 2015 Winner Best Youth Film). Welcome back!

With so many entries and so few of us, it took a village to review incoming entries and select the lineup of over 40+ films. We are so grateful for time and careful consideration of the reviewers. It is this mighty group of folks who are helping to shape this year’s fest offerings.

And next month, it’s your turn. Show up and vote on your favorite feature, comedy, short, animation and youth film and help us shape the movement to change the way our community, our people and our culture are represented.
